Ride Responsibly

At Goat Power Bikes, safety is our highest priority. Our products are high-performance electric vehicles that require responsible operation, routine maintenance, and proper protective equipment.

Before operating any Goat Power Bikes product, read the owner's manual completely and familiarize yourself with the controls, features, and recommended operating procedures.

Always ride within your skill level and obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Protective Equipment

Goat Power Bikes strongly recommends wearing appropriate protective equipment every time you ride, regardless of distance or speed.

Recommended safety equipment includes:

  • DOT-approved helmet

  • Eye protection or face shield

  • Gloves

  • Long sleeves and durable riding pants

  • Over-the-ankle footwear

  • Protective riding jacket

  • Knee and elbow protection for off-road riding

Never operate any vehicle without appropriate protective equipment.

Pre-Ride Inspection

Before each ride, inspect your vehicle for safe operation.

Check the following:

  • Tire pressure and condition

  • Brake function

  • Throttle operation

  • Steering movement

  • Suspension components

  • Battery charge level

  • Lights (if equipped)

  • Fasteners and axle hardware

  • Chain or drive system (where applicable)

Do not operate the vehicle if any component appears damaged, loose, or malfunctioning.

Riding Environment

Only operate your vehicle in locations where its use is permitted by law.

Always:

  • Ride on appropriate surfaces.

  • Maintain a safe following distance.

  • Be aware of pedestrians and other vehicles.

  • Adjust your speed for weather and road conditions.

  • Use additional caution on loose gravel, sand, mud, or wet pavement.

Avoid riding in hazardous conditions whenever possible.

Rider Responsibility

The operator is responsible for maintaining control of the vehicle at all times.

Never:

  • Operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Operate while fatigued or distracted.

  • Carry passengers unless the vehicle is specifically designed for passenger use.

  • Perform stunts or reckless maneuvers in public areas.

  • Exceed your riding ability.

Ride responsibly and respect others sharing the road or trail.

Battery Safety

Only use Goat Power Bikes-approved batteries and chargers designed for your specific model.

When charging:

  • Charge in a dry, well-ventilated area.

  • Keep away from combustible materials.

  • Do not cover the charger while in use.

  • Inspect charging equipment for damage before use.

  • Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.

Never:

  • Modify a battery.

  • Open or disassemble a battery pack.

  • Use a damaged battery.

  • Charge a battery showing signs of swelling, impact damage, overheating, or water intrusion.

If a battery becomes unusually hot, emits smoke, or produces an unusual odor, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.

Vehicle Modifications

Unauthorized modifications may affect vehicle performance, reliability, warranty coverage, and legal classification.

Goat Power Bikes recommends using only approved replacement parts and accessories.

Modifying braking systems, suspension components, electrical systems, controllers, batteries, or motors may increase the risk of injury or property damage.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance is essential for safe operation.

Regularly inspect and service:

  • Brake pads and rotors

  • Tires

  • Suspension

  • Chain and drivetrain (where applicable)

  • Bearings

Follow the maintenance schedule provided in your owner's manual.

Weather Conditions

Exercise additional caution when riding in:

Reduced traction and visibility increase the risk of accidents.

Children

Goat Power Bikes products are not toys.

Never allow a child to operate a vehicle that exceeds their size, experience, or ability.

Adult supervision is recommended whenever minors operate any electric vehicle.

Accident or Damage

Immediately stop riding if your vehicle has been involved in:
